What can I do with Canva and Celero?

Celero starts where Canva stops and makes your design intelligent.

Canva is an excellent online graphic design tool. You can use it for everything from creating presentations, lead magnets, designing eBooks, creating proposals, flyers and documents.

Once you've created a design, you can instantly upload it to Celero, and get the following:

  1. Make changes to your design even after you share it
  2. Serve a mobile friendly version of your design automatically off the same link
  3. Engage your customers by making your design interactive
  4. Generate leads from your design with intelligent gating
  5. Learn how your users are ACTUALLY interacting with your design

Lets explore this in detail:

Make changes to your design even after you share it

Once you upload your design to Celero, it will get instantly converted into a native web page (HTML) and you can grab a link to it.

This link represents your design and is a "Smart Link". Read more

You can confidently share this link with your audience, whether through email, a social campagin, in messaging or as CTAs on your website.

At any point in time, you can make changes to your design, and upload a new version to Celero.  Anyone accessing your link, will now seamlessly get the new version of your design!

Serve a mobile friendly version

As your design links are now smart, you can also upload a mobile friendly version of your design.

When a viewer opens your design from a mobile device, Celero will automatically share the mobile design with them, and optimize their experience to the best possible one.

Engage your customers by making your design interactive

There are so many interactive possibilities to add interactive components to your Canva designs.

By simply putting placeholders in the design and adding links to those placeholders in Canva, you can include videos, animated gifs, calendar invites and much more right within your expereince itself.

Generate leads from your design with intelligent gating

When your designs are in Celero, you can now gate them intelligently.

Whether you're using Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce or Celero forms, gating can happen in one of four ways:

  1. Immediately when the design opens
This is the most simple form of gating.
The great news is that it saves you time and effort creating a separate landing page.
  2. After a certain amount of time
You can have the viewer engage with the design for a while (e.g. 30 seconds) prior to showing them the gate. It helps clarify the value you provide to the viewer, before asking for their details. Many of our customers start with this strategy as they experiment beyond option 1 above.
  3. When the user interacts with the design or takes a certain action
If you've made your design interactive, you can now put the gate in front of some interactive capabilities. For example, when the user clicks to play the video right from within your design, a HubSpot form will show asking for their details.
  4. Based on viewer behavior
This is the most advanced form of gating.
There are simple examples for this - such as, gate when the viewer goes beyond page 3. There are also more sophisticated examples - Gate if the user has engaged more than the average engagement on that design.
Almost anything is doable with this option, and some of our most advanced clients test different strategies using A/B testing.

If you want to learn more about gating options, see for example our In-content gating using Marketo form  post.

Learn how your users are ACTUALLY interacting with your design

It is very hard to improve your designs without a feedback loop.

When you upload your designs to Celero, they are instantly tracked for:

  1. Views and time spent
  2. Actions taken
  3. Download, Share
  4. Highlight text, Copy text
  5. etc etc

Those actions are an indication of intent and interest that can be used to:

  • Improve the design itself
  • Escalate very engaged leads to sales
  • Assign a lead to a more appropriate nurture stream
  • Identify hidden segments and missed opportunities that you did not have visibility to before.

Tracking is enhanced with Celero's integration into any Automation and CRM where engagement is placed as activity on the customer record.
